ShopIQ provides a Saas cloud-based e-loyalty and e-retention solution "Spurr Loyalty" for both small and large organisations. Motivation is to offer both large and small organisations to offer "Starbucks" like e-loyalty customer experience.
 
As Chief Business Officer my milestones currently involve:
 
Cultivating strong and effective partnerships with both public and private sectors for the development of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, alliances and platform licensing
  • Initiated collaboration with TM, DIGI and MayBank to offer digital loyalty for their SME clients and negotiated partnership terms and conditions
  • Negotiation funding term sheets and contracts with investors. being involved in IR/PR activities for fundraising (DIGI, TM, Toyota and Maybank)
  • Liaising with government agencies (MDEC, SMECorp, CGC), international organisations (World Bank Group and Islamic Development Bank) to run IR 4.0 adoption and ecosystem development (loyalty centric) programs Building corporate structure for growing the business

Privasia Technologies provides Saas cloud-based e-procurement system "ProcureHere", helping organisations achieve operational excellence and realise cost through supply chain digital transformation.
As a transformation agent my milestones involved:

  • -Efficiently managing team of 30 individuals comprising of project managers full-stack application developers, business analysts, support engineers business development specialists - As well as coordinating with the group stakeholders (Board of Directors and Group CEO).

  • Successfully launching full 'Source to pay' suite within 8 months.

  • Strategizing and implementing efficiency improvement measures leading to 30% operational improvement and 60% client management support improvement.

  • Developed product roadmap and manage end to end project rollout.

  • Positioning Privasia as a thought leader in the digital supply chain space

  • Increased 30% revenue for year 2020 through new revenue streams

My role as the Industry fellow and Member of the Steering committee includes: 

  • Facilitate and provide industrial advisory and insights for homeownership projects which form a  critical aspect to solve national housing affordability issues

Head, Islamic Market & Fintech, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)

MDEC's Islamic Digital Economy (IDE) and FinTech division role is to develop nations IDE and FinTech ecosystem by building local tech champions, catalysing digital innovation ecosystems with supportive policies and propagating financial and social inclusion.


As championing IDE and FinTech initiatives my role and milestones include:

 

  • Advocate Digital adoption - Running advocacy programs through partnerships and collaborations. Coordinating technology use cases for AI, Blockchain and Cloud computing.

  • Contributing to policy papers in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank) (VBI implementation paper) and international development agencies (World Bank Group - Digital Adoption policy recommendation)

  • Promoting Malaysia as a regional FinTech and Islamic Digital Economy (IDE) hub- Launched the first Fintech Hub 'Orbit' in collaboration with regulatory authorities.

  • Capacity building programs to enable startups to scale.

  • Unleashing funds for startup development in collaboration with international development agencies (World Bank Group), FSIs and VCs

  • Digital Talent - collaborating with institutes of higher learning to develop policy papers by providing industrial insights.

  • To represent MDEC and Malaysia during local and international events.

  • Speaking and providing insights at the central bank's exco meetings 

  • Drafted 5-year institutional strategic plan and presented at the Exco meeting, chair by Deputy    Governor
